Description

Eggs in a nest make a fun and easy breakfast!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 egg
  • 1 slice of bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Use a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass and  cut a circle (or any other fun shape) in the middle of a piece of bread.
  2. Put butter in a hot skillet and let it melt.
  3. Put in the two pieces of bread and crack an egg in the hole.
  4. Cook until golden brown then flip both pieces and cook the other side until golden brown.

Notes

For a sunny side up egg – toast one side of the bread and flip it before adding the egg. Continue cooking over medium-low heat. Cover the pan so the egg sets.
