Homemade Strawberry Milk is bursting with the flavor of fresh, sweet strawberries. This easy, 3-ingredient recipe is perfect for one or two servings and so much better than store bought.
2tablespoons sugaror other sweetener, or to taste (optional)
Syrup method:
4ozstrawberriessliced (¾ cup)
2tablespoonssugar
2tablespoonswater
1cupmilk
Instructions
Blender method:
Combine strawberries, milk, and sweetener (if using) in a blender and blend until smooth.
Syrup method
In a saucepan, combine the strawberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then turn the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. The berries will soften and lose their bright color and the liquid will be deep red.
Strain the strawberries out of the simple syrup through a fine mesh strainer, being careful not to press down on the berries or the syrup will be cloudy.
Chill until cold
Stir the chilled strawberry syrup into a glass of cold milk

Big batch of Strawberry syrup for about 8 servings: Make this homemade Strawberry Syrup. It can stay in the fridge for up to 3 weeks and makes about 2 cups of syrup. Use about 2-4 tablespoons of syrup for 1 cup of milk or to taste.
