This Strawberry Juice recipe makes a delicious and refreshing fruit juice made from fresh, ripe strawberries.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb strawberries 454g
  • 1 ¾ cups cold filtered water or to taste

Optional ingredients:

  • Sugar to taste
  • Lemon or lime juice to taste
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

How to juice with a blender:

  • Clean and hull the strawberries
  • Process in the blender until pureed
  • Add water and optional sugar, lemon or lime, and pinch of salt to taste and briefly blend again to combine

How to juice with a juice machine:

  • Clean and hull the strawberries
  • Press the strawberries through the tube to extract the juice
  • Add water and optional sugar, lemon or lime, and pinch of salt to taste and stir to combine

Notes

  • You can serve the juice full strength or dilute it with water. I like a 1:1 ratio of juice to water. (For every cup of pureed strawberries, add 1 cup of water.) You can dilute the juice to your taste.
  • You can also dilute the strawberry juice with sparkling water or coconut water
  • You can serve the pure strawberry juice as is, or you can boost the flavor with sugar or other sweeteners (such as agave or keto-friendly erythritol), a pinch of salt, lime, or lemon juice.
