These look amazing, Kelly. I’ve never made anything in wonton cups — and using them for these popper cups is pretty genius.

I made the these for a birthday party and they were a hit. I couldn't find wonton wrappers so I used frozen puff pastry shells. Delicious and so easy to make!
That would be awesome, Joyce! Thanks so much!
Salivating...just sayn...cannot wait to make these.
Thanks so much, Tammy! Hope you like them!
Made these for a birthday party used the hot canned peppers. Didn't turn out hot at all. Recipe is hard to understand wasn't sure if cheddar cheese went in mix and on top or what. Same with the mozzarella. Turned out very nice looking but not spicy at all.
Hi Marcia, There's 1/2 cup of cheddar and 1/2 cup mozzarella in the filling ingredients and an additional 1/2 cup of cheddar sprinkled on top as a topping. I find fresh jalapeños to be hotter than the canned ones. Hope this helps!
Hi, so excited to try this recipe out this weekend for an early Christmas celebration! Do we add the bacon & green onion in with the filling or save that for garnish only?
Hi Emily, There is some in the filling ingredients and some extra to be sprinkled on top as a garnish.
Are these intended to be served warm or can they be served at room temperature?
Hi Suzanne! I serve them warm but room temperature is fine, too. Because they contain dairy, I wouldn't leave them at room temperature for a very long time.
Couldn't find wontons anywhere so cut up phylo pastry. Made several times such a hit!
Great idea, Kathy! Thanks so much!
